LONDON, United Kingdom — BoF compiles the most important professional moves of the week.

Smythson Names CEO
British stationer Smythson has hired Mark Daley as its chief executive, effective immediately. He fills a position that has not officially been held since Andy Janowski stepped down in 2013. Formerly president of the Asia Pacific division at Ralph Lauren, Daley brings expertise in the Asian market to the brand.

Liberty Appoints Buying Directors
Ahead of its planned flotation in 2018, Liberty has promoted Scott Tepper to the position of buying director for fashion, and Gina Ritchie to buying director for beauty, jewellery and accessories. Previously, Tepper was head of collaborations at the luxury department store, which he joined last year. Ritchie first joined Liberty as a beauty buyer in 2009, before becoming head of beauty and accessories in 2012.
