What you can expect:

We are looking for proactive interns to join the Women's Design & Creative Development team of the U.S. corporate office in New York on April 27th, 2020, for at least 6 months. The Internship candidate will assist with the productive development and design process from concept to final sample. This internship requires an advanced level of Photoshop and Illustrator, as you will be working on artwork developments. HUGO BOSS Fashions, Inc. is an Equal Employment/Affirmative Employer (M/F/D/V).

  • Assist with general design process from concept to final sample
  • Assist with creating mood boards and conduct trend research
  • Locally source materials and pickup/drop offs at local factories
  • Assist with organizational/administrative tasks as needed
  • Maintain and update all fabric charts
  • Create and update technical packs
  • Coordinate and track shipments
  • Source/purchase local fabrics, trims, etc.
  • Organize inspiration, print, and color materials
  • Research and assist in creating original prints and graphics
  • Work during fashion show and assist as needed
  • Assist with daily office maintenance and administrative tasks
  • Various independent projects


Your profile:

  • Current student in undergrad/grad program
  • Strong drawing skills - both hand sketching and technical sketching
  • Understanding of texture, color and quality fabric
  • Good eye for detail as well as keen interest in fashion trend styles
  • Knowledge of fabric and understanding of basic application preferred
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, CAD Programs, and Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn more about the industry
  • Professional/educational knowledge in Product Development
  • Highly organized and able to multi task
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to take independent action to follow through on projects
  • Must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
