Prior Experience:
- Minimum five (5) years of ecommerce software development.
- Expert skills using Web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (JQuery, JSON), Ajax, XML in an eCommerce environment.
- Experience thru full project life cycle, working with the business to Identify requirements, design, develop, QA and launch end product.
- Experience in working with 3rd party integrations.
- Prefer experience working in a fashion / multi-brand environment.
Job Role:
- Develop prototypes and build features integral to the global ecommerce and marketing sites.
- Take a lead role in code audits, design reviews, weekly sprints and reference application governance.
- Work with business partners for template improvements, new feature developments, process analysis and technical recommendations.
- Communicate with management team, and business area experts to improve product functionality, resolve issues, voice risks and quantify constraints.
- Write technical documentation related to features and functionality.
- Maintain a high level of technical knowledge on webtechnologyand other technology tools.
Skills:
- Analyze existing use of the methodologies, techniques, and tools of web development and provide technical, performance and process improvement recommendations.
- Demonstrate technical acumen for troubleshooting and Object-Oriented development.
- Must be able to learn new concepts and technologies and convert them into customer solutions.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a softwarelife-cycle(AGILE).
- Able to communicateeffectivelyto IT management as well as business area experts with skills such as empathetic and active listening, and clearly and patiently articulate solutions.
- Work in a fast-pacedenvironment, including the ability to address short term tactical requirements without losing site of the longer range strategic direction.
Knowledge:
- Proficient in CSS, HTML5, JavaScript (Preferably AngularJS and Node.js).
- Advanced JavaScript coding, concepts and debugging including knowledge of current and future ECMASCRIPT Standard Specs (ES6, ES7).
- Experience with SQL and relational databases and schema design a strong plus.
- Internet protocols: SMTP, HTTPS, SOAP/REST a strong plus.
- Strong working knowledge of SalesForce Commerce Cloud ( Demandware ) preferred.
- Working knowledge of GIT
- JIRA experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
