Purpose: The Program Director will play a leading role in running the delivery of large-scale cross-functional projects spanning teams and divisions in and outside of Tapestry Inc.

Management
- Lead scope alignment and definition sessions, identifies program critical success factors and drives mitigation of significant issues and risks
- Provide leadership operational and technical reports on performance and advise how to best achieve performance goals and results
- Schedule and coordinate recurring and newly scheduled work required to monitor program schedules for all tasks and opportunities
- Develop and monitor program budget to meet fiscal objectives
- Establish milestones and monitor adherence to plans and schedules
- Assess and manage change, risk, and resource plan across program
- Define effective program management processes, structure, roles, and responsibilities to successful execution and delivery of business objectives
- Manage geographically dispersed business teams, off-shore development teams, and third-party vendors
- Supervise managers, provide feedback and work on averting potential problems
Communication and Reporting
- Manage multiple technical teams providing technology and methodology leadership ensuring the delivery of elegant and innovative solutions to high impact business opportunities.
- Provide management visibility into project status while executing effective decision-making, approvals, and direction

The accomplished individual will possess...
- BS is Computer Science or related technical field preferred
- Program Management experience - minimum 8 years relevant consulting or industry experience in mobile, user experience, digital or ecommerce
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing technology engagements
- Scrum certification or experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other project/program management training
- Demonstrated expert level experience in all aspects of Project Management plan-driven methodology
- Knowledge and hands-on understanding of eCommerce platforms. Salesforce Commerce Cloud/ Demandware preferred.
- Experience in creating technical and operational requirements documentation from discovery through test and signoff
- Experience managing multiple projects, cross-functional teams and priorities.
- Understanding of the project lifecycle and experience of various project development methodologies
- Capable of working independently, on your own initiative, to an agreed action plan
- Solid leadership skills
- Solid time management and organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira)
- Excellent writing and documentation skills, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
