Brief description of the department

The Group Marketing Department aims to support the Group and its Maisons in order to develop and nurture their marketing & business development. In accomplishing this, the department is divided into five sub-departments, each with its area of expertise: Strategic Planning, Market & Brand Intelligence, Media, Digital Marketing & CRM and Public Relations.

The regional Richemont Group Marketing department based in Hong Kong SAR China represents the Group Marketing Department in the APAC region, fostering closer collaboration with Asia-Pacific subsidiaries and headquarters.

We are currently recruiting an Assistant Client Intelligence Manager for our existing China office in Shanghai to join our dynamic, fast-paced and international team.

Role

In this role, the Assistant Client Intelligence Manager will support the team to deliver accurate, insightful analysis to drive decision-making for the different internal business/marketing stakeholders.

You contribute to the generation of insights that help marketing and other business departments to better understand the effectiveness of our marketing efforts with the different existing channels, campaigns and ongoing client engagement initiatives.

You will be part of the team that is responsible for utilizing tools of primary and secondary market research and data analysis to provide unbiased, objective, in-depth understanding of the market, product performance, customers 'journey, and competitors.

The ideal candidate will have strong digital analytics & quantitative/qualitative market research experience, project management support, communication skills, analytical aptitude and a willingness to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.

In addition to keen data and analytics skills, the candidate will also have a strong understanding of business and marketing, being able to effectively produce and translate consumer/market/data insights into actionable analytical insights which drive marketing recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Support to Identify, analyze data source and reports for developing deep market & consumer understanding (trends, consumer behavior, cultural insight, etc) though both big data and small data.
• Be the referent for digital marketing for the Maisons and provide support on social media, SEM/SEO, CRM implementation, channel management, marketing optimization strategy
• Assist in using technology/advanced analytics to enhance existing studies and tracking data to build new enhanced capability to improve the efficiency of insight generation process and performance of the Maisons' marketing efforts.

• Aid to Identify and anticipate Maisons' needs and respond with adapted services

• Support to organize internal events and seminars aimed at bringing together the Maisons to exchange intelligence and to have access to the latest market/data analysis

You are responsible for the fulfilment of assigned objectives in a timely fashion

You understand, adapt and challenge working methods within the department to improve its performance and efficiency

You take part in transversal projects within Group Marketing APAC based in Hong Kong SAR China and the global teams based in Paris, France

Profile

A passion for delivering data-based recommendations for quantifiable improvements in business results and client satisfaction.

You have developed a strong interest for the luxury industry and are up to date with current trends in the luxury marketplace, understand the luxury market and the luxury clients culture with a background in Marketing, Economy or a Business School degree

You have very strong interpersonal skills and a client-oriented mindset

You have a highly analytical profile with exceptional communication and critical thinking skills

You are fluent in English and Mandarin and keen to work in an international environment. French would be a plus.

You have strong computer and report writing skills

Advanced experience in paid, owned, earned media, ecommerce, analytics disciplines including web, social, mobile, sentiment, CRM and social listening.

You are highly detail-orientated, efficient and autonomous, you have strong time keeping skills, a proactive and persistent approach

You are an enthusiast with entrepreneurial spirit

Excellent skills in translating data & analysis into business/marketing recommendations

You are comfortable to speak in public

Self-starter and able to navigate "a start-up mindset environment" within a matrixed organization

You have at least 5 years of experience. A previous role using client data & insights to shape digital marketing experiences would definitely be a strong asset either in a digital or consultancy agency.
