Quality Assurance Manager
Reporting to the VP Supply Operations Italy and constantly aligned with BBY Corporate Quality function, the QA Manager coordinates all activities required to direct and control manufacturing quality within the development and production site. In particular, being initially focused on the finished product, he/she reviews final product quality requirements by implementing clear processes/controls within the internal manufacturing inspection facility. Once implemented and tested on final products, this kind of approach/culture must be then extended to manufacturing processes and raw materials.
·Internal quality management: problem solving and corrective actions.
·Coordinates an internal team dedicated to suppliers of raw materials to check and control specific quality requirements.
· Ensures that manufacturing processes comply with standards at brand, national and international level.
·Supervises QC technicians and works with operating staff to respect procedures, standards and systems and to implement a continuous improvement system.
·Acts as a catalyst for change and improvement in quality performance.
·Define and implement the quality system covering the whole production process to improve product quality through processes.
·Act in coordination with industrialization for the consistent implementation of improvement product features.
·Records, analyzes and distributes statistical information on quality (products, processes and raw materials).
· Implements and coordinates “Project 2020” on quality topics.
· Assists on quality complains and implement an action plan to constantly reduce them starving to reach zero complains from the Market.
·Following the QA strategy/procedures/standards of the group, establishes Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the Quality Assurance and QC team in line with the overall Supply Chain KPI’s.
