About the role

The MC is responsible for their divisional websiteowning category & product page experience to marketing asset linking acrosssite & email. The position acts as an integral part of theMerchandising/Buying team and supports the day-to-day functions to achieve themost compelling customer experience. The heart of the role is about payingclose attention to detail with the ability to be curious, flexible andinnovative. Our MC 'touches all things' merchandising preseason/in season/postseason- giving a strong foundation to what is required to grow a successfulcareer in apparel retail.

What you'll do

  • Creates and manages a compelling sort & site experience with SiteMerchandising collaboration
  • QA website assets and email linking daily to ensure proper functionalityof categories & styles are associated.
  • Daily monitoring of styles that stock to ensure proper site display
  • Create and deliver weekly reports for divisions and distribute toteam/management.
  • Reviews the weekly creative - imagery, messaging, and inventory inpartnership with the site merchant team.
  • Lead weekly site reviews with Site Merchants to review live sitestrategy and preview what's in the pipeline providing sort strategy based onbusiness results from omniture findings, trends and competitive landscape
  • Supports photo planning process by submitting photography requests andcreating an assortment tracker to align cross functional teams. Bubble up anyissues to Site Merchants and appropriate cross functional teams.
  • Ability to identifyobstacles, determine cause & recommend solutions to keep the business/workflow moving forward utilizing every resource.
  • Pro-actively identifyand communicate best practices, solutions to tool/systemeport issues, etc. tofellow MC team members and Site Merchant team.


Who you are

  • 1-2 years of retail experience, Ecommerce experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, as are candidates with an ambition to builda career in merchandising
  • Self-starter and highly motivated, capable of balancing multiplepriorities working in a fast-paced environment
  • Razor sharpaccuracy in data management and systems execution
  • Proficiencywith MS Office, advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Strongproblem solving, organizational & time management skills
  • High levelof verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability towork in fast-paced environment; flexible; team player
  • Providemanager with timely feedback on personal developmental and training goals
