Position Overview
Create your own is a brand new department coming to Bicester the first Polo Factory Store that allows customers the opportunity to customize Ralph Lauren product to create a unique outfit whether that be a down outerwear jacket or a pair of denim jeans. This exciting new department is situated in the largest Ralph Lauren Flagship store in Europe meaning you will be at the forefront of customisation and personalisation enhancing the customer journey.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Actively greet all customers asking open ended questions in order to upsell/cross sell
* Building rapport with customers identifying their needs using our customer service model whilst delivering Ralph Lauren's premium service
* Interactive personalization hub which allows users to digitally personalize polo icons with custom embroidery and monogramming on polo shirts, hats and more
* Prepare the garments adhering to the guidelines
* Prepare garments before the customizing process including hand stitching backing patches to garments where needed
* Using the computer aided program to embroider products
* Using sewing machines to personalize Ralph Lauren products which can be either brand new products or previously owned products customers are looking to customise
* Oversee the create your own process including stock control, maintenance and replenishment whilst managing customers expectations
* Allowing only perfect products to be presented to customers maintaining Ralph Laurens high standards
* Have good knowledge of materials to understand what can be customised
* Promote teamwork through contributing to team and personal sales objectives including KPI's
* Efficiently process till sales transactions
* Daily up keep of sewing machines and other tools within the department

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Able to present a portfolio of previous work showcasing skill set
* Have experience in either: hand stitching, machine stitching or alterations
* Be IT systems competent to include ipads and Microsoft packages
* Possess strong communication, interpersonal and influential skills
* A desire to build relationships and promote teamwork
* Have a creative flare
* Be adaptable and able to step up to help in other areas What we offer
