Position Overview
Join a vibrant, world-class team at Ralph Lauren. In this role you will lead the strategic thinking and insights-led publishing for our social platforms, in partnership with a dynamic digital team. The role of video, content, and dynamic experiences on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, and TikTok are ever changing, and to keep up we must dedicate equal time to the HOW and the WHAT. You'll build and develop our Ralph Lauren social presence to its best-in-class use and continue to evolve it to meet new business and industry needs. The primary objective of the role will be to support the Global Social team with the strategizing, development, and publishing of social-first content. You will own our relationship with platforms and bring to life social-first ideas in collaboration with a cross-functional team - including digital marketing, global marketing, insights and creative. This role will be responsible for the 360 strategy and social media publishing for Ralph Lauren across all platforms. Success in the role will come from developing a strong knowledge of social media best practices, challenging norms to create best-in-class publishing, possessing a strong grasp of the competitive landscape of Fashion, Luxury and Beauty on social, and demonstrating creativity in strategizing and publishing social-first content in a dynamic way.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Work collaboratively with the global marketing, brand creative teams, and any third party teams to outline a considered, 360 approach to social publishing
* Launch and own the global Ralph Lauren social media strategy and playbook; ensuring goals ladder back to marketing priorities and business goals
* Oversee global campaigns; partnering with creative teams to bring to life social-first experiences in an engaging, innovative and data-informed way
* Spearhead individual platform strategies, partnering with the digital insights team to ensure all social output is strategic, data-informed and best-in-class
* Provide expert guidance and translate platform developments and industry trends into actionable recommendations
* Partner with the global social team to oversee the weekly and seasonal content planning for Ralph Lauren; ensuring that publishing has an always-on presence
* Partner with PR, celebrity, and hospitality teams to create rich storytelling and engaging publishing formats during live and special events
* Collaborate and support on all social needs across brand campaigns, special projects, and social-first activations
* Ideate new ways to bring Ralph Lauren to life, across multiple social platforms - to ensure Ralph Lauren continues to lead within the industry
* Innovate and inspire through best-in-class social storytelling and publishing

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Proven track record strategizing, reporting, and evolving social media for brands
* Knowledge of social media marketing trends, best practices, and platform innovations
* Experience managing a team with a proven track record of cross-team partnership in development of social/digital campaigns that drive results
* Strong understanding of the Fashion, Luxury and Beauty industry
* Strong communication and organizational skills (with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously)
* Experience in data visualization; interpreting data into actionable, strategic recommendations a must
* Ability to work and take initiative in a fast-moving, ever-evolving environment a must
* Passion for Fashion, Luxury and Beauty brands
* Experience with Sprinklr, NetBase and / or Khoros a plus #LI-AD1
