Job Details

KOIBIRD is looking for an experienced E-Commerce Manager to join our digital team. You will be a dynamic, meticulous and commercially minded individual with great interpersonal skills to help develop and expand the online business.

As E-Commerce Manager, your role is to develop and create industry-leading work that pushes our brand forward, delivers an exceptional online experience to our customers, and drives results.

You will be responsible for the delivery of online revenue growth, increase of customer acquisition, and engagement and retention through innovative and strategic online initiatives and ongoing website optimisation.

Responsibilities:

Day to day management of the e-commerce website

Develop and oversee the customer experience to increase engagement, conversion rates and drive sales

Manage all aspects of web analytics related to e-commerce and provide relevant reporting to the team

Use reporting and customer feedback to drive product updates and initiatives

Communicate and provide insight on end-customer

Understand the product catalogue and what is driving sales

Responsible for the delivery of the online sales plans, and contribute to the regular reforecasting process throughout the year

Ongoing QA and product development for the website

Lead the online effort and work alongside the buying department on product management

Work collaboratively with the buying team on the website merchandising to ensure key products are featured prominently, and cross-sell and up-sell opportunities are maximised

Work closely with Digital Marketing Manager to ensure messages are consistent across paid advertising and online channels

Manage and report on weekly newsletters and automated campaigns 

Work with Digital Marketing Manager to actively grow newsletter database and drive data capture initiatives within the business

Create the commercial plan for online and the homepage, working with the Content team to incorporate key weekly messaging

Work with Content and Design teams to build the blog article pages, using your knowledge of UX and best practise of digital design to guide your layout decisions

Manage the relationship with the web development agency and project manager

Work with Project Manager to prioritise maintenance work, and create briefs for standalone projects

Manage the ecommerce shoot budgets

Work with Art Director on shoot execution, giving input on visual direction from a commercial perspective

Manage end to end the ecommerce shoot deliverables, from image selection, retouch notes, renaming conventions and uploading

Manage copy writer for all product descriptions and homepage content

Ongoing research into trends and innovations within the industry to identify what we can be doing differently and work these opportunities into the online roadmap
