Overview 

We are looking for a strategically minded, social media savvy creative writer to bring the OvH brand to life and take our storytelling to the next level. As the voice of OvH you will create engaging copy for all channels that communicates our brand values and personality. This is a new role that offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious copywriter to join a rapidly growing luxury brand that has lots of exciting stories waiting to be told. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the voice of OvH, develop the brand story and TOV to bring the brand to life and open up the world of OvH to the consumer 
  • Create, develop, proof and manage all copy including press releases, product descriptions, paid social captions, blog posts, CRM, packaging etc., ensuring messaging and overarching brand strategy remains clear and consistent across multi-channel touch-points
  • Work proactively to create compelling stories and experiences, turning creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts that enhance our content roadmap, with business objectives in mind 
  • Work collaboratively with our ecomm manager and SEO agency to ensure all digital copy works to enhance the brand’s digital presence and share of voice across markets 
  • Develop guidelines and best practices for brand copy, working closely with our social media & customer service team to ensure TOV is consistent, engaging and geared towards community building 
  • Spot opportunities and develop strategies for language to add value to the experience of the OvH consumer, championing the role of copy throughout the business

The Ideal Candidate 

  • Will understand the commercial power of a compelling brand story
  • Have exceptional writing and proofing skills and a strong eye for detail
  • Be able to balance creative flare with commercial objectives 
  • A creative and strategic thinker with an appreciation of how multi-channel messaging comes together to create a powerful and cohesive brand experience 
  • Ambitious, with a passion for delivering aspirational brand content and experiences suitable for a discerning, luxury audience 
  • Demonstrated ability to create, implement, and manage copy standards across an organisation
  • A resourceful and multi-talented team player who can turn their hand to any challenge that comes their way 
  • Have exceptional communication and collaborations skills, both in written and face to face situations
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams (brand, marketing, sales, social, paid, digital)
  • Good time management skills and ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Encompass the OvH brand and values and truly represent the spirit of the company
  • Passionate, energetic and proactive team player 
  • SEO understanding advantageous
