Job Details

A perfect opportunity to join a relatively new but strategically driven function with great opportunity for growth. We are looking for a driven, dedicated and hungry individual willing to learn and immerse themselves in understanding all things pricing! The purpose of the Pricing assistant is to review, maintain and manage pricing internally & externally. This requires the candidate to support the pricing analyst to ensure consistency and accuracy on pricing whilst also continually being aware of competitive and commercial impacts to the business.

 

Initially, the pricing assistant will be responsible for brand price list management & the first port of call for any pricing queries. Additionally we want to see potential in being able to assist the pricing analyst in painting a picture of the competitive landscape with a view to analyse and contribute to integral pricing decisions that positively influence the wider business.

 

Key Responsibilities      

 

• Responsible for requesting and managing brand RRP lists

 

• Collate, analyse and review recommended retail prices across all territories

 

• Assist pricing analyst by putting forward suggestions on appropriate price positioning to drive business

 

• Responsible for pricing symmetry across internal systems

 

• Analysis of competitive landscape of smaller brands to ensure competitive position.

 

• Assist pricing analyst in delivering pricing reporting to the wider business

 

• Build strong cross-departmental relationships to help drive success of the pricing function

 

• Provide all-round administrative support to the Pricing Analyst

 

• Ad-hoc duties

 

 

 

Skills and Experience:   

 

• Strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.

 

• Analytical skills in order to assist with analysis and reporting

 

• High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in work.

 

• Eagerness to learn and develop a career within the Pricing function at Browns

 

• Maturity and confidence in approach.

 

• Strong analytical, numerical and Excel skills (V-lookups & Pivot tables ideal but not necessary)

 

• Collaborative approach and ability to build relationships across various departments.

 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

 

• Flexible, hard-working, and good team attitude.

 

• Keen interest in luxury fashion retail and Browns.
