Senior Credit and Collection Specialist

Moose Knuckles is looking to add a Senior Credit and Collection Specialist to our office based in Milan. Reporting to the Director of Credit, based in Montreal, you will be responsible for managing the collection of all European majors and independent boutiques. You will be expected to provide recommendations on accounts to management and be the go-to-person for insurance brokers for accounts located in the area.

Some of What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for collection of all European clients, about 500 active accounts combined 
• Manage collection activities according to policies & procedures 
• Provide recommendations and inputs to management to improve credit performance and support business expansion with both new and existing accounts
• Follow-up on overdue accounts, follow-up with clients and third-party collection agency to coordinate payments and actions
• Issue credit notes to update account balances
• Apply payments received from clients or external collection partners  
• Apply chargebacks and deductions to account balance
• Partner with Customer Service Department and regional salespeople to solve credit and collection issues.
• Work closely with insurance broker, from coverage application to regular update of agreed terms to minimize company risk 
• Provide aging reports to submit to credit manager, customer service and sales management
• Provide performance and KPI reports to management when needed

Some of What You'll Need:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in collections and credit in wholesale and retail 
• Fluent in Italian with professional proficiency in English  
• Extended knowledge of Word and Excel
• Experience working on an ERP
• Responsible and autonomous
