Vestiaire Collective is looking for a talented Copywriting Intern to join the Creative Factory for 6 months.
About the internship:
Working at the heart of Vestiaire Collective’s Creative Factory, that creates all content for the company, you’ll be working directly with the Fashion Editor & Editorial Coordinator and Senior Copywriter as a Copywriting Intern.
You’ll be assisting in the creation of all written content for Vestiaire. You’ll be writing copy from your very first day, and this could be for anything across the entire business, from technical SEO copy to customer-facing emails, press releases to editorials, and everything in between. Directly supporting the Senior copywriter, we’re looking for someone who is nothing short of an ace with the English language. The ideal candidate will be a quick-witted, self-motivated and uber-responsive native English writer, with some French skills a major bonus, fashion and digital-literate, and with an entrepreneurial spirit.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the creation of editorial content is carried out with flair and meaning
- Be ready to take on projects big and small, overseen and mentored by the Senior Copywriter
- Manage briefs and stakeholders with care, intelligence and diplomacy
- Create plenty of copy, all day every day!
SKILLS
- A native English speaker, you’ll ideally have good working knowledge of French. It’s a bonus if you have knowledge of German, Spanish and/or Italian too.
- Be adept at multitasking, spinning multiple plates and deadlines at the same time
- Your knowledge and use of spelling and grammar is impeccable, and you’re able to adapt language to produce content aimed at the specific target audience.
- Knowledge of (or the desire to learn about) the fashion world
- An eagle eye for detail
- Comfortable communicating verbally and in writing, as well as by videochat
- Unparalleled organisational skills, independence and reliability
- Capacity to hit deadlines, even very tight ones
PROFILE
- Degree or higher-level qualification in journalism/marketing
- Would suit someone looking to get into creative / copywriting / journalism / marketing
- Some experience working in the professional world, ideally in fashion / digital
- A willingness to learn and be mentored
- A positive approach to life
- Great organisation and the ability to work independently
We are offering a 6 month internship.
Role is based in the Vestiaire Collective office in Paris (with some working from home)
