THE MISSION OF THE ROLE

At Richemont, we put respect, care, equal opportunities, and fairness at the very core of our organization. We are looking for a Head of Inclusion & Diversity to join us in progressing, developing, and championing a truly diverse workforce and inclusive environment, where our people can thrive and be their authentic selves. We will look to this key member of our team to bring thought leadership, tailored insights, and strategic perspective to our efforts to foster IDEAs (inclusion, diversity, equity, accessibility) across our organization.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Design, develop, and direct the delivery of programs and strategies that progress our I&D goals, in partnership with our executive team, Maison/Function leaders, and HR
  • Coach our executives and leaders in shaping their roles as champions and advocates for inclusion and belonging, both internally and externally
  • Provide strategic input and guidance to our leaders and HR partners on embedding I&D best practices into all aspects of our team and operations
  • Partner with Learning & Development Team to integrate I&D content, serve as a thought partner, and support the facilitation of related learning initiatives
  • Partner with Talent Team to enable and equip recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers with the tools, training, and resources to attract diverse talent and set them up for success in the hiring process
  • Partner with HR Operations & Analytics Team to develop, maintain, and monitor metrics on a I&D dashboard, using research and data-driven insights to diagnose and assess the impact of I&D programs and initiatives
  • Collaborate with teams to inform and execute holistic employee engagement and communication strategies and programs that leverage the passion and perspectives of our people, including the development of engagement vehicles (e.g., diversity council, resource groups, etc.) to accelerate and champion progress across the region
  • Advise local Maison teams with I&D expertise as it relates to products, marketing, PR/communication, etc. to help us communicate with a cohesive external narrative
  • Serve as the North America representative in Richemont's global I&D community, and act as the local pointperson for any global I&D initiatives
  • Maintain an active network or partnership with I&D experts to help us learn from innovative approaches, both inside and outside our immediate industry, and bring fresh ideas to our organization
  • Partner with Internal Communications, Talent, and Employer Branding to establish I&D as a core tenet of our employee value proposition, and elevate our visibility and reputation as an employer of choice

WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY FOR THIS ROLE
  • You are a natural coach who is fulfilled by helping people around you grow, develop, and succeed
  • You are comfortable pivoting quickly from long-term I&D initiatives, to diving into the weeds and helping to get the work done
  • You are energized by challenges and approach them through a lens of positivity and opportunity
  • You are solution-oriented, always questioning the status quo and finding ways to innovate and elevate where you see opportunities to raise the bar
  • You have a deep sense of personal responsibility, strong attention to detail and organization, and enjoy juggling many priorities at the same time
  • You are curious and are passionate about continuously learning and growing your capabilities
  • You seek to understand and solve problems using data and information, and can fluently use metrics to evaluate and demonstrate the impact and effectiveness of your work
  • You bring exceptional emotional intelligence, empathy, and sound judgment to your work and collaboration with others, making you a trusted colleague and go-to partner
  • You thrive in complex environments, leading others through ambiguity and change, balancing short-term agility with long-term sustainability
  • You are a gifted communicator, and can skilfully navigate and cultivate strong, collaborative working relationships with stakeholders across our Maisons, Functions, HQ, and external contacts
  • You respect and value the power of open conversation to bring people together, learn, and achieve progress
  • You are innovative and courageous, not afraid to take bold steps to drive action
  • You are humble, willing to listen and learn before sharing an informed recommendation
  • You are bright, kind, and motivated by a sincere desire to make an impact and create an environment where everyone feels welcomes and every voice is heard

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO OUR TEAM
  • 10 years of experience with designing, developing, and leading the execution of measurable and scalable I&D programs and initiatives for complex organizations
  • Previous exposure to I&D in a geographically distributed retail or consumer-centric environment; luxury sector experience not required
  • Strong understanding of industry benchmarks, leading practices, and innovations in I&D, as well as the strengths and drawbacks of what has been tried in the past
  • Success in coaching organizational leaders at all levels of the organization, including through the use of influence
  • Bonus points for exposure or experience to I&D in a European parent organization
