ASSISTANT BOUTIQUE MANAGER - SOUTH COAST PLAZA

OVERVIEW:

Assist the Boutique Manager with all issues related to the management of the boutique. Present the Store Leadership as a cohesive management team with a unified message and voice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in the management of Watch and Jewelry Consultants in order to optimize boutique performance
  • Assist in the training of boutique staff in order to achieve company goals including operational performance
  • Assist in the recruiting process
  • Contribute to achieving the financial targets for the boutique, including; sales, discount, and inventory
  • Ensure the integrity of the Piaget brand in the boutique's market according to international guidelines.
  • Provide necessary feedback to the Boutique Manager on inventory mix. Maintain inventory controls.
  • Assist in the creation and management of in-store and external events that will develop new client opportunities, drive sales, and enhance Piaget's presence in the marketplace.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service in all areas of negotiation, client satisfaction and post-sale service
  • Assist in the management and development of customer relationships and the customer database system.
  • Help build strong partnerships with local charities, shopping venues, and key networking sources.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A minimum of two to four years of prior luxury sales and supervisory experience required.
  • A track record of developing and motivating personnel to achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills, (proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred, SAP is a plus).
  • Experience with logistics and operations
  • Organizational and problem solving skills
  • Experience in employee relations issues as required with a group of direct reports; training, motivation, managing conflict
  • Experience with high profile PR events and networking at such events
  • Mandarin speaking skills preferred
