About the Role
The Design Director for Apparel is responsible for leading a team of skilled designers to create and deliver innovative, brand right products and solutions that support strategic initiatives. In partnership with the VP of Design they will define, interpret and drive the creative direction for seasonal product assortments. We are looking for a seasoned design leader with a strong POV on color, print and trend that will develop our creative vision. The Design Director of Apparel will use exceptional design skills and knowledge of the current market to create and innovative commercially viable products, from concept to production. This position will work closely with the VP of Design and our Founder in the ideation/development of product and market white space.

• Drive research and analysis of upcoming fashion, market trends and competitive product offerings to understand the over-all market and to identify opportunities relevant to our product

• Build strong and synergistic relationships with cross functional partners; Merchandising, Marketing, Sales, Technical, PD and Production
