RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work within the chosen Burberry operating model and leverage each aspect to gain optimal performance.
- Lead the talent agenda for the geographic business/functional area ensuring it features prominently in business plans.
- Lead the Multi Year Talent Plan (MYTP) for the geographic business/functional area. Coordinate resources, including HR SSC and COE to deliver the plan.
- Build reliable, local succession pipelines that are diverse and relevant, contribute to the development of talent pools outside immediate area and imaginatively and relentlessly acquire talent through the TBC talent engagement model/process.
- Frame global talent initiatives and capability programmes in the geographic business/functional area.
- Develop and deploy a learning and development plan that is fully aligned to the MYTP present and future performance needs and which ensures the business has the capabilities available to meet it's business plan.
- Manage/lead local union and/or employee forums.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Able to utilise and interpret data to inform decision-making.
- Experienced HR practitioner, with experience gained at HR Manager level and some experience of business partnering.
- Ready and able to challenge the status quo and to challenge the BU leader to be better.
- HR professional qualification or equivalent experience level.
- Significant experience as a business partner within a globally recognised luxury fashion brand.
- Strong experience of supporting product (manufacturing, product development, quality) & distribution teams for luxury manufacturer of leather goods.
- Experience of change leadership, organisational development.
- Effective coach, ability to empower the business.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills and ability to build rapport and trust.
- Ability to see short term and long term effects of possible actions.
- Language skills: fluent in Italian and English.
