Our team in Porto focuses on financial reporting and operations, while the Group Finance team in London is made up of Tax, Legal, Treasury and Commercial Finance. Our New York office is located in Midtown near the iconic Bryant Park and the historic Grand Central Terminal, New York's best connected office neighbourhood. The beautifully designed office has 360 views and tall windows to bring the outside in. We have a communal kitchen that brings the whole team together for Family Lunch and Happy Hours. The office is open plan with plenty of rooms and booths to take a private call, have time to relax and work in private or have a large collaborative meeting.

The Role

The role will be responsible for executing the global Procurement Operations vision in North America, with the goal of achieving both operational and financial benefit for the company. Under the guidance of global Procurement, the role will be responsible for the

ongoing success of the global business spend management tool across North America functions, ensuring spend under management is optimized for improved spend management and operational efficiency, with a focus on indirect spend. This person will be responsible for the development of vendor relationships, conducting RFPs, negotiations and e-auctions. This person will be a business partner to North American teams, developing effective relationships with key stakeholders. Furthermore, this person will support the Senior Procurement Operations Specialist as a financial and analytical business partner. This person will develop financial

models and perform trend analysis in order to identify opportunities and recommend solutions to current priorities.

What You'll Do

  • You will assist in executing global Procurement Operations vision in North America
  • You will manage global business spend management tool in North America
  • You will identify business needs and prioritize operational and financial benefit opportunities
  • You will conduct financial planning and analysis, build complex financial models and analytical tools to support and inform procurement strategies
  • You will conduct RFPs, negotiations, and e-auctions to select vendors
  • You will proactively and frequently communicate business statuses and results
  • You will analyze new business ideas, make analytical judgments, and provide data intensive analyses to drive meaningful change
  • You will use deep understanding of objectives, issues and root causes and provide insightful, fact-based data analysis to help solve complex problems
  • You will partner with business owners in vendor selection and negotiations (price and other terms)
  • You will support contract review and renewal processes in conjunction with legal
  • You will support vendor audit and ensure all vendor onboarding documents are compliant
  • You will manage external supplier relationships and internal customer relationships
  • You will develop and maintain effective strategic relationships with internal customers and stakeholders

Who You Are

  • You have a BA/BS degree in business, finance or a related field
  • You have 2 - 3 years of relevant procurement and/or finance experience
  • You have sourcing, project management, and planning skills
  • Ideally you have experience with Coupa or another ERP system
  • You have strong business partner experience; experienced in working with multiple stakeholders
  • You have strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
  • You are able to influence others in a team environment
  • You are self-motivated to improve processes and improve efficiencies
  • You have a track record of managing deliverables from multiple parties to meet challenging deadlines
  • You are able to self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and a willingness to work with a high degree of autonomy
  • You have a proven ability to work within strict deadlines
  • You have a strong identification with Farfetch core values
