At Zalando Plus, our mission is to provide our customers with the most elevated online fashion experience, offering unlimited access to free premium delivery, personal style advice, a premium customer care service and exclusive member-only offers, for an annual membership fee of 15 EUR.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
  • Commercial planning & analytics. Own the Zalando Plus Commercial business case and strategy. Drive and manage membership growth along with sales forecasting.
  • Commercial operations. You are responsible for overseeing the commercial operations of Zalando Plus. You ensure the performance of the Plus convenience services is in line with customer expectations and work with convenience teams to drive improvements. Plan and align the retail campaign calendar for Zalando Plus, collaborate with Marketing and Country management for successful execution.
  • Expansion. You will be in charge of managing the expansion of Zalando Plus to further Zalando markets.
  • Stakeholder management. As an inherently cross-functional role, you will create close relationships with business stakeholders and Management in order to align on business priorities. You will actively communicate your progress and ensure smooth operation.
  • Leadership. As Commercial Head, you will provide leadership and mentoring to your team, outlining the vision and strategy to bring Zalando Plus to the next level. You will lead by example, both within the team and to other Zalando teams. You will influence where necessary to lead diverse teams towards a common objective.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Analytical thinking. You are able to fly high and deep dive in every dimension of analysis. You have outstanding P&L understanding. You are a strategic commercial thinker with impressive analytical skills and a robust business planning skill set.
  • Consumer & business insights. Being able to translate our customer needs and business opportunities into a sound commercial plan that yields results on both short-term and mid-term. You have an in-depth understanding of E-commerce. You are comfortable in a fast paced environment and always looking for pragmatic and creative solutions to change the game.
  • Master of multiple domains. Can you bridge the gap between Expansion, Operations and Marketing? Do you have a track record of envisioning, developing and launching innovative and successful products?
  • Effective networker. We believe in autonomous teams that can own and drive topics. We rely on people with agile mindsets, talking to each other to identify interdependencies and sources of mutual value to create optimal solutions. How fast can you build your personal network to add value to discussions to make sure you leverage synergies and see opportunities? Will people come to you as a thought leader and natural collaboration partner?
  • Background and experience. You have an above-average university degree in economics, management or comparable qualification. You have gained extensive work experience in consumer-oriented commercial and financial leadership roles.
