Job Title: Manager, Ecommerce, Kate Spade
Primary Purpose: The Manager of E-Commerce will support the long term, profitable growth of Kate Spade's North America business through strategic positioning and tactical execution of the website, including product and site preparation, promotion and campaign setup, refining on site search/filters, coordinating inventory and pricing processes, conducting competitive research, and reporting business updates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support end to end execution of the site including partnership with external vendors to continue to develop and enhance the ecommerce platform
- Leverage business analysis and strong understanding of financial metrics to track selling, identify key trends and maximize opportunities to achieve growth and profitability of the ecommerce business
- Understand digital analytics and reporting, and develop strategic plans to enhance those KPIs
- Synthesize findings, structure presentations, and communicate recommendations and action items to drive alignment and execute against key strategies
- Partner and work collaboratively with cross functional teams across areas of ecommerce strategy, site experience, buying & planning including:
- Brand Marketing team to manage content calendar and digital marketing initiatives for ecommerce, including home page, landing page, email, search, affiliate, performance and social media to support the brand and business objectives
- Merchants and planners to drive site-merchandising strategies, ensuring optimal presentation of product as measured by conversion and average order size
- Maintain robust competitive intelligence to monitor trends, pricing strategies and presentation techniques
- Demonstrate the ability to manage up, down and across with results
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional work experience in ecommerce
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and to manage cross-functional business partners
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Highly organized with ability to effectively juggle multiple projects at one time; Ability to adapt to changing priorities and react with appropriate sense of urgency
- Experience with Google Analytics and Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) platform
