The purpose of the position is to manage the strategy and execution of key strategic lines within the Watch category, and be responsible for the implementation of local marketing strategy in line with these objectives.

REPORTING TO Watch & Accessories Manager



  • Key responsibility 1 - BU & Strategic plan
    Identify the business opportunity for responsible watch collections and contribute in the build up of BU and strategic plan

    Set the roadmap for long-term vision and forecast plan by city tier for the collections
  • Key responsibility 2 - Forecast ( in-range & novelties )
    Prepare the bi-monthly forecast down to reference level for APO system uploading

    Work with HQ and local Merchandising teams in monthly Collaboration to be in line with BU and strategic plan and anticipate stock delivery plans

    Perform key benchmarking analysis for new product launches (pricing, aesthetics, and materials) vs. competitors and in-range products
  • Key responsibility 3 - Product launches
    Lead strategic input / come up with action plan of in-charged lines, based on fact-supported analysis.

    Define and lead the local strategy, establish and implement solid, integrated launch plan & gain independent leadership on project handling

    Lead cross function teams to meet launch objectives and deploy action plans across Retail, VM, CRM, PR and Comm for respective projects
  • Key responsibility 4 - Competition, customer insights & market analysis
    Integrate deep understanding of Chinese market, competitor and customer set

    Identify opportunities and come up with action plans via thorough competitor and market analysis on regular basis (including Roadshow Events, In-Boutique Events)
  • Key responsibility 5 - Monthly Sales Review
    Issue monthly sales review and propose short term and long term action plan

    Implement action plan timely

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field; post graduate / MBA is preferred
  • In-depth analytical thinking and business analysis

  • 5-6 years of professional experience working for a reputable multinational company (hold the marketing position of senior executive / supervisor / assistant brand or product manager for at least 2 years in 1 company)
  • Previous role must demonstrate strength with regards to detailed quantitative analysis, interpretation of data and report generation
  • Must demonstrate ability to work across functions with strong people skills
  • Preference for experience in (1) Luxury industry but with strong data analysis/forecasting roles and responsibilities (proven Watch experience in luxury industry is most preferred) (2) FMCG / beauty industry but with understanding and appreciation of luxury marketing insights (3) Business Strategy Consulting

Additional Requirements:
  • Proven integrated marketing experience (brand building, brand development, product, communication) is a plus
