Our team's aim is to understand our customers' needs and wants and to enable our internal stakeholders to see the world through consumers' eyes to make game-changing decisions. Asking the right questions to the right respondents in research projects for all of the 17 markets Zalando is currently operating in, we make sure we understand our current and potential customers a bit better every day.

As a working student (15-20 hours per week, starting 01.10.2020) you'll help us further advance our market research through supporting a diverse range of projects from brand and marketing topics, to customer experiences with the delivery, the packaging or the payment as well as customer segmentations and many other exciting topics.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

You contribute to all phases of a research project:
  • Support the team in questionnaire design and programming of online surveys
  • Take on responsibility for analyses of data from various sources
  • Design research reports and support quality assurance

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Enrolled Student in Marketing/Market Research, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Statistics or Psychology or comparable subject, with an academic record of high achievement
  • Analytical mindset with knowledge in market research methods and quantitative data analysis
  • First experience with research and analytics tools, such as Qualtrics, SPSS or R is a plus
  • Routinely work with Powerpoint and Excel or Google Sheets and Slides
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken), further languages are a plus
  • Structured and proactive person, with an eye for detail, that can take responsibility for delivering your work within set deadlines
