This position will be responsible for supporting conversion and sales through the online merchandising strategy. She/he partners with internal teams and external vendors to successfully translate the business strategy to the ecommerce channel, satisfying the financial, technological, and operational demands of the business.

  • Partners with Site Merchants and Merchants on Category Assortment Strategies to drive Sales.
  • Manages and maintains site content and loading (homepages, landing pages, grid content, etc.) partnering with content management system/shared services.
  • Partners with Site Merchandising Managers on updating and tracking all site refresh and project deliverables in partnership with the Site Marketing team, ensuring deliverables are accurate and timely.
  • Reviews and analyzes online competitor site merchandising, promotional execution and tactics, user experience, product representation and taxonomy.
  • Researches feedback from all available resources: customer service, customer feedback reporting, product ratings and reviews, social media, and utilize the information to optimize the site and improve site metrics.
  • Continually analyzes, executes, and provides improvements to the customer experience as it relates to navigation and product listing pages.
  • Partners with web studio to plan into and select detail/editorial shots for lead thumbnails.
  • Works with the Ecommerce team to strategize navigation, category structure, custom pages and overall merchandising of the site prior to collection launches.
  • Monitors website to ensure that product is active on-line and appropriately displayed (image, copy, title, price, color, etc.).
  • Partners with Site Marketing team to build compelling Product Collections to support Digital Marketing Efforts.
  • Partners with Site Merchandising team on Force ranking based on Google Analytics insight and Selling.
  • Keeps abreast of market trends, consumer trends, competition, customer service issues, and eCommerce technology and dynamics.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3 years of experience in e-commerce or web content management; retail industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of ATG/BC/Google Analytics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fast learning ability to understand content management tools
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to multi-task and react to shifting priorities while adhering to deadlines. Attention to detail is essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - with a strong need to convey statuses clearly and succinctly to a wide range of cross-functional audiences
  • Resourceful and self-motivated approach to work, with an interest in learning and growing professionally
  • Team player who is results-oriented and can build relationships to achieve team goals
