Position Overview
Ralph Lauren is seeking a Director of Digital Operations to join its studio e-commerce team to oversee the implementation, development, and maintenance of a product information management (PIM) enterprise system to support our ecommerce global business and manage a global operations team with a primary responsibility of overseeing shoot production with our International Studios. The Director is responsible for promoting and implementing innovative and future proof solutions with respect to, product set-up and product enrichment, load balancing products to regional studios and responsible for identifying growth opportunities to enhance the operation. This leadership position will work closely with digital operation leads, project managers, IT and business stakeholders globally. This role will be responsible for ensuring all product samples are available for shoots for marketing, PDP, PR and Advertising and load balanced across regional studios. This role will lead their team to develop, integrate and deploy solutions as well as execute business deliverables in a fast paced, digital global e-commerce environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Lead and manage a Global Digital Operations team of diverse skillsets and management levels
* Partner with Supply Chain on Sample creation, calendar alignment and premarket shoot planning
* Partner with Merchandising, DAM Operations, Sample Management & IT leads for process building & automation of process across all sample to digital touchpoints
* Collaborate with business leaders to understand how technology and process can support their areas, providing recommendations and delivering high quality projects
* Research and propose changes and new options to improve product data quality and integrity
* Plan, manage and organize project tasks, lead and assign team and individual objectives
* Implement seasonal & brand pdp calendar management and planning from an end to end perspective
* Partner with DAM Operations for improved deliverable reporting and implement measurable KPIs to track performance
* Drive and lead channel specific quarterly reviews with operation & merchandising leads
* Build strong communication across channel and regional partners; host regular meetings & workshops for training & education
* Actively seek out new technology & vendor partnership opportunities for review and recommendation

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Bachelor's degree required
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, 5+ years of proven management skills
* Strategic thinker, able to translate business objectives into 360 project plan
* Knowledge of Supply Chain, Product Management, PIM/DAM and Global Website Publishing highly advantageous
* 3-5 years of experience in vendor management
* Experience in Adobe Products, DAM, MDM Systems and/or PLM a plus
* Be comfortable with ambiguity and suggesting bold new ideas to improve operations
* Outstanding ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing
* Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with multiple assigned projects and tasks
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Prior experience in balancing and forecasting P&L a plus
* Prior retail experience is required
* Experience working with a high volume of products is preferred #LI-AD1
