About the role

Job
Actively collaborate in all aspects of the Private Label business such as OTB and receipt management, Inventory management, in-season and end of season financial analysis. Develop a merchandising strategy, including product selection, to maximize sales, margin and profitability targets. Translate fashion trends into appropriate assortments for the Intermix customer. Conduct in-season analysis and tactical adjustments. Oversee the timely placement and maintenance of purchase orders. Recommend pricing and markdown strategies to maximize business profitability. Partner with planning on data analysis and assortment planning to achieve financial plans. Evaluate the open-to-buy, markdowns and inventory levels on a regular basis and react to the market accordingly. Monitor inventory productivity and vendor profitability. Participate in line reviews to ensure brand cohesiveness and competitive assortments. Partner with production team to monitor vendor negotiations and strengthen long term relationships with suppliers and factories. Monitor the competition and customer by market. Train and develop buying assistant.

Who you are

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business or a related field and 3 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related occupation.

Experience and/or education must include:

1.

Proven track record of success and ability to drive a business;

2.

Proven ability to create product assortments to meet customer needs;

3.

Business and financial analysis skills;

4.

Retail math acumen;

5.

Ability to run and extrapolate business learnings from Oracle reporting;

6.

Purchase Order Creation & Markdown Management within Oracle; and

7.

Understand nuances of product-to-market lifecycle of a vertical business
