MAIN PURPOSE

This position's main role is the task around retail AR accounting, BTQ inventory, retail projects, and BTQ monitoring and leading the BTQ operation to align with the group policy and the compliance. This role is required to work closely with the BTQ staffs, internal control, IT and other accounting professionals, and expected to be the professional who are not only the accountant but also the executor who make the needs at the BTQ happen.

Our Group activities in Japan include 16 Brands which manage 199 boutiques with over 1,900 employees. This role, as the RBO professional, is part of the overall Richemont finance community and he/she expected to be a real business partner to BTQ operation with professional compliance mid set.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Retail AR & BTQ inventory
  • Support daily sales activities of BTQs
  • Reconciliation and validation of AR, revenue and inventory
  • Manage inventory counting at BTQ
  • Process stock adjustments


2. Guardian
  • Implement group rule and guideline to BTQ
  • Control BTQ manual invoice & receipts
  • Monthly audit check of BTQ documents
  • Operation manual preparation for BTQs (VAT-off, Stock count, Credit card, Red light, and other)
  • Preparation of new BTQ opening (credit card / vat free application, staff training)


3. Retail projects
  • Implementation of new credit card terminal
  • Introducing new payment solution to BTQ
  • Payment method management (vender selection & credit card companies)
  • Executing compliance projects such as Tax-Free digitalization & AML
  • Setting up new sales scheme


PROFILES:

Experience:
  • 5 years+ Accounting and/or controlling experience is expected
  • Retail experience is a plus


Skills:
  • Proactive and solution oriented, timely and qualitative
  • Team-player
  • General accounting skills and knowledge
  • Excel and Financial system skills with full flexibility for new environment
  • Excellent in communication, presentation and relationship building
  • Fluency in English and Japanese
  • Japanese book keeping 2nd grade or above
  • SAP or Oracle experience

NOTE: The position can varies depending on the experience and seniority of the candidate. It can be an entry level to a manager level.
