As a member of the HUGO BOSS Human Resources team, the Human Resources Associate provides support to the Sr. Director Human Resources Corporate & Retail, North America and the Human Resources Manager for Retail with all HR functions, performance management, organizational capability and design, compensation, employee relations, leadership development and training to deliver easy access, quality service.
What you can expect:
- Assist in managing projects, programs and practices that engage, inspire, and recognize workforce performance.
- Ensure that all new hire paperwork is completed in accordance with our onboarding policies and procedures.
- Update and maintain accurate job descriptions.
- Organize and maintain employee files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- Provide Sr. Director Human Resources Corporate & Retail, North America and Human Resources Manager with administrative support (i.e. expenses, manage calendar, and arrange travel).
- Manage and track processing and completion of all unemployment claims received for the Retail Population.
- Partner with the Human Resources Manager in implementing and overseeing the Performance Management process and other talent management processes, organizational assessment, learning strategies, and leadership development
- Monitor, report and analyze termination trends amongst the Retail population.
- Partner with the Sr. Director Human Resources Corporate & Retail, North America and the Human Resources Manager to come up with best practices for streamlining the onboarding experience for all Retail new-hires.
- Managing the Seasonal hiring process from start to finish in partnership with the team.
Administrative:
- Maintain and update retail organizational charts on a regular basis.
- Run and analyze business reports on a weekly and/or monthly basis.
- Analyze and update census reports on a weekly basis to ensure all employee recordings are accurate and up-to-date.
- Complete all tracking, auditing and reporting of performance review information in partnership with the team.
- Analyze and run usage reports for DocuSign to gauge hiring trends.
- Assists with day-to-day resolution of benefit/payroll related issues and inquiries (Address changes, Direct Deposit, W4 updates, Job Abandonment letters, employment verification etc.)
- Track the receipt of performance reviews and evaluations in accordance with the Talent Management Process.
- Monitor and respond to inquiries from all relevant HR Mailboxes.
- Update employee information in all applicable reporting/scheduling systems (Kronos, DocuSign, Calchambers, etc.)
- Schedule exit interviews for applicable employees.
- Schedule HR Training for new hire managers on a monthly basis.
- Organize, update and maintain HR Retail Employee files on a continuous basis.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years Human Resources experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong follow-up skills
- Possess analytical aptitude
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and maintain strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize work effectively
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
- Ability to work with all levels of employees
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
