Job Details
Extremely creative and successful LA-based international clothing line, Libertine, seeks an assistant to help with general operations of Los Angeles studio, in-house production, order processing, and trunk show events. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Making sure in-house production is completed correctly and within the given timeline of an order.
- Keeping track of production flow throughout the studio at all times
- Tagging, organizing, and packing orders when they are ready to ship.
- Shipping multiple store and private client orders a day
- Checking in and quality control checking incoming production.
- Preparing merchandise for trunk shows.
- Taking and editing product flats photos for eCommerce platform.
- Maintaining shipping supplies and running errands as necessary.
Requirements:
- Must have 1-2 years of logistics experience
- Experience using a PLM, inventory software, or B2B wholesale software a huge advantage as these types of systems are used on a daily basis for order management and tracking (Zedonk, Joor a plus)
- Experience using shipping software (UPS, FedEx, DHL preferred)
- Experience with Shopify (a plus)
The perfect candidate:
- Must be extremely organized and able to keep a strong sense of balance when faced with daily and ongoing project deadlines, since the job entails attention to multiple and often competing priorities.
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must be able to problem solve and devise solutions when unforeseen circumstances arise
- Must have good written and verbal communication as this position works cross functionally with other team members as well as with outside clients
- Must have a basic knowledge of photoshop for product shot editing.
- Must be dedicated and hardworking with a "get it done" kind of attitude.
- Must have a car for running errands (gas will be reimbursed).
- Must understand how to compose oneself in a professional setting.
- A background in fashion is not necessary, but a general interest in fashion is a plus
