THE ROLE

PART TIME FIXED TERM JUNIOR MARKETING MANAGER (3 MONTHS INITIALLY)

The Junior Marketing Manager will think creatively and entrepreneurially to engage with new customers and develop the European business. They will be an ambassador and voice of the brand in Europe.

RESSPONSIBLITIES

Marketing

  • Work closely with the Global marketing team (based in New York) to plan and execute an omnichannel marketing strategy applicable for the EU market that follows Global messaging and guidelines.
  • Manage relationships with all local agencies and media partners throughout Europe to ensure strategic plans are in place and activity meets set KPI’s. Monitor and share results with the Global marketing team.
  • Manage the digital marketing strategy and ensuring activity are meeting objectives.
  • Travel to key markets across Europe in support of brand initiatives.  
  • Liaising with Wholesale partners across EU to ensure Theory programs are executed to the agreed upon level, as well as forward planning partnerships for Spring 2021.

PR & Social

  • Working closely with PR agencies on ongoing product and brand activity to build brand awareness and drive sales across Europe.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with press, stylists, bloggers and influencers to secure key exposure.
  • Store events; these events would be hosted in Theory stand-along retail stores- Marylebone UK and Rue Saint Honore France with the objective of bringing in new customers and driving sales.

Digital

  • In partnership with the Digital team and Digital agency, manage paid activity across all channels to drive traffic to the UK site, UK & FR stores as well as generate brand awareness.
  • Propose and manage digital partnerships that boost sales, increase traffic and awareness around UK site and stores.
  • Liaise with our digital marketing agencies and the publishers on digital campaigns and ensure all assets are provided within spec and meet campaign objectives.
  • Create assets following Global brand guidelines and templates for emails and digital channels including email, website and social media
  • Editing and resizing existing assets
  • Create and send email campaigns

We need:

  • Someone experienced in Marketing, Digital Marketing & PR
  • Vibrant, confident and an interest in fashion
  • Strong communicator and excellent copy writing skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Demonstrated marketing experience and a clear track record of managing an omnichannel strategy
  • Good knowledge of the fashion industry
  • A creative, innovative thinker
  • Able to travel on an ad hoc basis throughout the year
  • Ability to build effective partnerships throughout Europe
  • Skilled in using Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop
  • An understanding of graphic design principles and grid layouts
