Full Stack PHP Developer

Strathberry retail online all over the world with a main website and further dedicated websites for the US, China and Japan. With stores in Edinburgh, London and Shanghai, and continuing global success, we are looking to expand the development team based in our Edinburgh Head Quarters.

The Role

Another exciting opportunity has arisen as a result of the ever-growing demand for our luxury Strathberry products. We are looking to recruit a mid level full stack PHP developer on a permanent basis. You will join our small team and work on a variety of exciting development tasks including Shopify, VueJS, WooCommerce and Symfony2. Reporting to the Head of Digital, you will contribute to the maintenance and development of our platforms and the post holder will be involved in all aspects of the online activity.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate for this role will be analytical, creative and take great pride in their work.

We’d love to hear from you if you specifically have the below:

• 2+ Years Commercial PHP Development experience

• Good working knowledge of at least one ecommerce platform (preferably Shopify or WooCommerce)

• 1+ Years experience with a modern javascript framework eg. VueJS, React Angular (preferably VueJS)

• Good MySQL experience or equivalent

• Good knowledge of Symfony or Laravel

• Experience of working with Payment gateways

• Experience of building API integrations.

• Object Oriented Design

• Javascript, Jquery, CSS/SASS/LESS, HTML

• Devops Experience/SSH server administration

• GIT
