Job Title: Senior Manager - DevOps Engineer, Data Labs

Primary Purpose: The hire will be responsible for managing the team's DevOps pipeline to support the development and deployment of data and analytics products used across Tapestry's stable of brands. The ideal candidate has experience designing and implementing automated build and deployment pipelines using cloud technologies. This position will have the opportunity to build out the DevOps team as well as influence the set of tools and processes used across the entire Data Labs organization. The role will work closely with our Data Engineering, Product, and Data Science teams to drive efficiency and streamline processes.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Data Labs to...

- Architect, build, and maintain automated build and release pipelines to be used by the Data Labs engineering and data science teams.
- Act as the subject matter expert in CI/CD processes and tools and drive the adoption of best practices for deployment and testing processes across the Data Labs group.
- Ensure our processes are optimized to deliver secure, reliable, and accurate solutions.
- Improve scalability of our solutions through monitoring of both deployed services and key infrastructure components.
- Proactively identify new technologies and tools to ensure Data Labs remains at the forefront of technology.
- Manage and build the DevOps capability within the Data Labs organization.

The accomplished individual will possess...

- College degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
- Experience working with cloud deployment tools and infrastructure as code technologies (Terraform, Jenkins, etc.)
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience designing and implementing automated CI/CD pipelines using best of breed technologies.
- Experience developing solutions leveraging serverless technologies including Containers and Kubernetes.

An outstanding professional will have...
- 5-7 years of experience in the DevOps field
- College degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
- Proven experience building and managing a DevOps team.
- A proven track record of designing reliable and scalable processes and driving their adoption throughout a development organization.
- Expertise using DevOps tools in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- A strong sense of curiosity and interest in Data Science and how it can be leveraged to drive performance in the Retail industry.
