MAIN PURPOSE

The Communications Manager implements Cartier International Communications strategy in line with guidelines, policies and procedures, adapting it where required to incorporate local specificity. The Communications Manager also handles the A&P budget linked to all Communications initiatives, proposes new innovations in the communications sphere, and acts as an ambassador of the Maison Cartier at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement communications strategy
  • Devise a yearly communications plan and calendar, by implementing Cartier International's guidelines and incorporating local specificities
  • Ensure the communications plan and calendar (including advertising, PR, Eventing) are holistic, and convey a coherent message in line with the image of Cartier
  • Adapt the communications plan regularly as opportunities arise
  • Propose and manage the yearly communications budget during business planning sessions
  • Present ROI reports on all communications initiatives
  • Media
  • Maintain an up-to-date advertising schedule, adapting regularly based on local realities as they arise
  • Coordinate with media agencies to ensure prime position with the appropriate visuals
  • Propose any new media that could be relevant to our Maison and target audience
  • PR
  • Obtain optimal coverage for the Maison in local and regional publications by:
    • Building and maintaining relationships with press partners (meeting on a regular basis, formally and informally)
    • Supplying media partners with content and pitching story ideas on a regular basis
    • Arranging for press partners to attend international events such as product launches, offering a unique experience of the Maison
  • Event management
  • Manage and organise Maison events, for both end-clients and press, from conception to implementation
  • Coordinate effectively with event agencies, ensuring seamless execution
  • Supply return on investment and learnings reports following every event
  • Propose new venues and events ideas regularly, by keeping abreast of new developments and trends in the eventing sphere and urban landscape
  • Coordination and transversal projects
  • Work effectively with the ExCo and boutique team on transversal projects, for instance but not exclusive to, those linked to Events and CRM Visual Merchandising (handled primarily by the retail team)

    EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
  • Solid experience (5 years+) in a similar or related role
