Veronica Beard is looking for a skilled social media strategist and content creator to join our team. In addition to leading community engagement, the position is responsible for developing and producing visual storytelling across all social channels. The role reports to the Editorial Director and involves cross-functional collaboration with multiple departments, from design and digital to creative, retail and philanthropy.

Plan and implement organic social media strategies in support of brand and business goals, driving awareness, engagement and traffic

  • Conceptualize and produce dynamic visual content; oversee asset creation and photo shoots for social channels
  • Spearhead and execute live-capture strategy and storytelling, both photo and video
  • Oversee and manage community engagement; develop social programs to excite, engage and inspire the Veronica Beard audience, building an interactive relationship between company and community
  • Oversee social editorial calendar and posting, maintaining visual and conceptual consistency
  • Research competitive landscape to identify seasonal trends, strategic initiatives, best practices and social innovation
  • Monitor and analyze social metrics to propose effective strategies for growth; provide performance reports
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives, including commercial campaign development, new launches, store openings, events and more

Experience & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 8+ years of social media experience. Preferably 4+ years of content marketing for a fashion, lifestyle, or beauty brand
  • Elevated creative eye and aesthetic; strong creative vision and skills in photo, video and design
  • Idea generator—ability to brainstorm new ways to bring the brand to life on social media
  • Passionate about digital innovation and creating high-quality, of-the-moment social content
  • Entrepreneurial spirit—capable of taking initiative and working quickly, efficiently and strategically with a wide range of internal departments
  • Exceptional multi-tasking and time management skills; detail-oriented
  • Experience with DSLR photography and Adobe Creative Suite
