Photo Retoucher

We are looking for a Photo Retoucher to join our high volume fashion retouching studio. This is an operational position processing images for web. We are looking for someone adaptable to our deadline driven environment that is collaborative and can hold their own to meet personal and team goals.

What You Get To Do Every Day

• Examines raw images to determine correct white balance and exposure
• Retouches jpg images to remove backgrounds so that product is displayed on pure white.
• Crops images to match visual standard of each item type.
• Run through quality control workflow, ensuring all products in the pipeline, including exceptions, have been addressed appropriately.
• Meets daily deadlines and goals.
• Assess and report studio issues, as needed.

What You Bring To The Role

• Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Bridge.
• Proficient with Mac computers.
• Ability to utilize Wacom tablet for retouching purposes is a plus.
• Communicates clearly and articulately.
• Self-reliant and proactive.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Excellent color vision.
• Able to apply sound judgment while working independently, and as part of a team, within tight timelines.
