In this exciting role you'll be part of the Global Social Media team within the Marketing Strategy and Campaigns department of the Zalando Fashion Store.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
  • Creating high-quality 'always-on' social media content driven by customer insights and data
  • Support the Social Media Team in building a loved, fashion credible and inspiring brand through implementing the overall Social Media Strategy, creative guidelines and content calendar, global influencer strategies.
  • Generate and implement ideas on world-class, game-changing social media activities to drive social conversation and inspire and engage existing and potential audiences
  • Support the execution of global marketing campaigns across all global channels (including maximising the communications opportunity of any talent we are working with)
  • Build positive and trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business (Campaign Design, Campaign Team, Marketing Analytics, Supply and Local Markets) and social media platforms and liaise between in-house creative teams and freelancers to facilitate project coordination, execution and evaluation
  • Act as a social media ambassador across the department and the wider business, building a reputation of expertise and success

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience within a Social Media team. Experience in online fashion and/or lifestyle environment as well as market knowledge about the Zalando markets is a big plus.
  • A deep and passionate knowledge of the social media landscape, including emerging platforms such as TikTok. As an expert, you will be expected to bring this knowledge into Zalando and to develop creative always-on-content suited to the channel and driving the business goals.
  • You are able to and have experience in working with social media analytics tools, and a good understanding of Social Media KPIs and are able to support with the creation of reports for key social media channels such as Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok and Facebook.
  • Excellent communication skills (speaking and writing) in English. Along with good organizational skills, and a structured approach to work. You are a positive and collaborative team member that brings a high level of motivation and energy to work every day. You will work closely with Marketing, PR & Influencers, Categories, ZMS and other departments and openness and the ability to form good working relationships is key
  • University degree in Marketing, Business Studies, Media and Communication or a related
