ROLE OVERVIEW

DION LEE is looking for a Press + Social Media Coordinator to join the New York based Marketing team. This role will support the Brand Manager and Creative Director, working closely to develop and integrate social media initiatives and in-house press strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the social media landscape, trends and platforms with a strong pulse on creative talent across music, fashion, art, digital and influencers. Previous experience in PR is ideal, as this role will coordinate the in-house press strategy including all sample requests, loans, gifting and global press coverage. 

SOCIAL MEDIA

• Assist in the planning of the social media strategy including scheduling and distribution of all content
• Maintain consistency in the DION LEE voice and tone across all social platforms
• Tracking and analyzing key metrics; generate weekly analytics reports to evaluate performance
• Engage with followers through ongoing daily community management

PRESS 

• Manage the sample collections, ensuring seamless transitions between internal and external sample requests
• Record all press and VIP requests, booking in and sending out samples
• Aid in coordination of gifting strategies
• Compile press clippings, monthly press highlights and quarterly PR reports to analyze results
• Liaise with press on editorial opportunities as well as image and credit requests 
• Monitor media landscape for relevant industry news

PA DUTIES

• This role will involve PA duties for the Creative Director, Dion Lee.
