Our London office is located in Old Street, London's tech hub, home to a broad range of teams including Commercial, Marketing, and Product. We have large open plan spaces and a feature staircase connecting our 3 floors, encouraging our collaborative and open culture. We also have a big outdoor terrace where we can have lunch and host social events when the sun comes out!

Farfetch is enterprising in its vast and unique fashion proposition. It is therefore essential that the product imagery is reflective of our USP and is a key driver in raising the fashion credibility of the site.

In order to achieve this the styling retail manager will be a pivotal role; working to drive styling products to best support the global styling teams & develop this department to meet the business needs continuously each season.

What you'll do

Product selection/ Buying
  • Strong understanding of individual market styling needs
  • Deliver styling product to global teams serving all needs & Brands
  • Consistently improve the styling quality output through styling wardrobe
  • POC front face for Brands and Commercial for Styling wardrobe opportunities
  • Review buy sheets, generate purchase orders and process order confirmations
  • Interacts with internal retail, buying and stock teams

Process Management and Strategy
  • Responsible for all tool kit processes and implementation of new ones
  • Manage inventory & seasonal edits
  • Facilitate quarterly audits of global tool kits
  • Resolve all queries from designers, suppliers, buying & styling managers
  • Develop improvement Strategies for Styling tool kits
  • Support in strategic implementation for Styling related projects/Programmes
  • Utilise styling product for driving sales opportunities

  • Manage tool kit budget
  • Deliver monthly spend report to Head of Creative Services and finance team
  • Understanding of seasonal needs v budget
  • Communicate and follow up on all payment related issues

Styling/ Luxury fashion knowledge
  • Create seasonal tool kit highlight content for presentations
  • Drive regular communication streams with global styling teams and managers on styling tool kit needs & areas of opportunity to support further
  • Bring an aspirational vision for the styling pieces along with an understanding of execution within the Farfetch studios.

Who you are

  • Previous experience in ecommerce within fashion retail - ideally focussed In the luxury market.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and re-prioritize according to business requirements.
  • Relevant experience gained in a fashion production/buying or merch function
  • An authorative and confident presence capable of driving strategic implementations
  • Styling/trend background
  • Ambitious and driven with an impeccable work ethic
  • Independent worker with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in managing budgets and working with finance systems
  • Extensive knowledge of designers and brands
  • Excellent eye for detail, excellent verbal and written skills specifically in regard to building relationships with suppliers and external contacts
  • Proactive approach to implementing changes within limited time frames
  • Excel knowledge
  • Knowledge of Individual market needs & brands
