For our International Retail Department, we are looking for a Senior Merchandiser Leather, Start date 1 st of September 2020.

How you will leave your mark?

Delivery of the merchandising strategy

  • Support the merchandise and assortment planning process in general
  • Specific responsibility for the merchandise planning of specified categories in collaboration with Category Management
  • Perform analysis of the assortment by category to support the assortment plan.
  • Present/communicate the assortment plans for to the Markets
  • Propose and maintain the boutique clustering based on quantitative and qualitative criteria
  • Assist in the development of the tools to optimize boutique product assortments and inventory, as well as space


Support the merchandise management

  • Monitor the core assortments, including the stock level, defined for each boutique cluster and report on risks and opportunities
  • Monitor product allocation in partnership with Supply Chain
  • Work with the architect team in the design of boutiques (in the respective geographic regions) to ensure correct planning of space (capacity calculation) for the defined assortment per boutique
  • Development and maintenance of reporting tools
  • Assist in the development of merchandising guidelines, processes and training


How will you experience success with us?

  • University degree in Business, ideally with Marketing and Sales focus
  • Professional experience: 5 to 10 years
  • Prior experience as a Sales merchandiser in Luxury goods, Fashion industry is preferred
  • Good understanding of the leather industry
  • Capable of contributing to and implementing the strategy of Leather goods products
  • Capable of quantitative analysis with a proven ability to work with numbers and data accurately
  • Detailed oriented, structured, organized and process oriented
  • Effective communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in data warehouse systems and Planning tools is preferred. Advanced skills in MS office
  • Fluent in English. German is an advantage
