As a Senior Product Manager, you will drive and design solutions to offer best-in-class advertisement solutions to our brand partners, and enable them to create even better experiences for our customers.
  • Keep up-to-date with the ad technology market to identify needs and opportunities in the market
  • Drive the conversation with commercial counterparts and system users to develop and refine product vision and feature ideas for Zalando's advertisement platform
  • Translate long-term vision into user stories and keep track working with a team of engineers using agile development processes
  • Understand back-end systems / algorithmic solutions and present them to non-technical audiences
  • Nurture relationships with Zalando internal stakeholders to improve internal collaboration and facilitate synergies within Zalando
  • Monitor your products success in terms of financial, operational and performance KPI's
  • Drive your product development by understanding data, setting goals and KPI's, proactively approaching users and stakeholders, collecting feedback and acting on it
  • Demonstrable product management experience, preferably in data heavy solutions (Advertising, social media, e-commerce, review/comparison sites etc)
  • Strong analytical skills in large data sets to evaluate opportunities and support decision making in product development (best experience in GA, BQ/SQL)
  • Comfortable learning about and dealing with advanced technical concepts such as auctioning, machine learning, bidding strategy optimization
  • Extensive experience in working with internal and external stakeholders to succeed in your daily work
  • Experience working with technical team is required (experience with backend/data science team is a big plus)
