Job Details

The E-Commerce & Digital Content Manager is a newly created role within the Communications department that is essential to accelerating Emilia Wickstead’s e-commerce business and online presence. This role marries creative with commercial, translating our brand story and DNA to traffic and sales, and is essential to ensuring the long-term digital development of the business. 

Responsibilities

E-Commerce Management

  • Day to day management of the Emilia Wickstead e-commerce site, including administrative tasks such as product uploads and editorial updates
  • Work with the Sales team on merchandising and inventory
  • Ensure layout, product imagery and copywriting on site is impactful, accurate and on brand 
  • Oversee UX and ensure it is optimized with regular testing and troubleshooting
  • Manage development agency
  • Work with Sales and Finance teams to enhance and make strategic suggestions on the online service offering, including packaging and customer service
  • Manage and oversee the growth of online customer database (CRM)
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on site traffic and conversion

Digital Marketing

  • Oversee the digital marketing calendar and make strategic recommendations on paid advertising (PPC, Paid Social, Affiliates)
  • Ensure digital marketing budget is well forecasted and adhered to
  • Implement an engaging and effective email marketing strategy in line with key product and seasonal retail dates
  • Manage the social media content calendar/schedule, working alongside the PR team to maximize press and event coverage
  • Responsible for daily Instagram updates, IG shopping and follower interaction
  • Identify and strategize on potential social stories/content and make informed suggestions to drive social engagement and DTC sales 

Content

  • Manage the brand content calendar in collaboration with Head of PR and Design team to ensure that e-com and campaign shoots take place to schedule and within budget, using appropriate vendors and creatives 
  • Responsible for compiling brand look books and distributing interally

 

The Ideal Candidate

In your application letter, please outline your experience with CMS and e-commerce systems such as Shopify/Magento, Zendonk/Lightspeed etc. 

  • At least 3 years’ experience working with e-commerce is a must, ideally with experience in content planning and/or social media
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels — social advertising, PPC, affiliates, email marketing
  • Prior experience within a luxury fashion/lifestyle brand and an elevated eye for detail and design 
  • Bachelors’ degree in a related field
  • Keen interest in the digital landscape 
  • Seeks opportunities to learn and upskill themselves; self-starter
  • Good time management skills, extremely well organised and has the ability to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Professional, discreet and well presented with a keen eye for detail
  • Passionate, engaged and a team player!
