LIVINCOOL, an LA-based, fast-growing celebrity lifestyle brand is looking for an experienced product-oriented full-time Head of Production and Sourcing with extensive knowledge within the Premium and luxury casual and sportswear market, based in Los Angeles.  

This is an early-stage company with high-growth potential for an individual who's willing to work in an untraditional and cross-functional environment. This role will lead and oversee all aspects planning, designing and developing collections, working closely with designers, vendors and the company's founder, Emanuele D'Angelo. The ideal candidate will be a key player in enabling the team to support rapid growth and drive speed in the delivery of product to our customers while exceeding standards of excellence. We are a diversified product company that designs apparel (loungewear, swimwear, activewear) and home accessories. We've had great success over the last 12 months and are now putting in place a team to help get us to the next level. The team is all-in to this, and we expect future members to do the same - we do not allow side-gigs and provide competitive compensation to make sure that it's worth your while.

As lead voice in Production / Sourcing,  you are highly organised and well versed in both production planning and sourcing across the globe from among the worlds best factories (primarily domestic ) and suppliers & your reason to join LIVINCOOL in its mission is your own passion for amazing products, across the spectrum of premium sportswear, swim and athleticwear.

Your primary role consists of managing the product life cycle from initial sourcing to managing production in cooperation with the design & merchandising team.

- Co-owner of product strategy understanding merchandising principles and line planning (with leadership) 

 

- With a strategic mindset, you will assist in developing a focus on sustainability across all aspects of the production and sourcing process, including how we think about product strategy and product design along with management, design.

 

- Lead & participate in sourcing and discovery of best manufacturers, products & materials 

 

- Own and manage the fit and standardization of all product. 

 

- Margin management of all categories

 

- Participates in product strategy and product line planning with leadership and design

 

- Comfortable with analysis and numbers, can think holistically and balance short-term operational results vs long-term goals for the brand.

 

- Set-up yearly calendars & critical path for production, sourcing development and design

 

- Daily follow-up with partners and vendors worldwide

 

- Conduct costing on all levels from development to production

 

- Work closely with the design team in the ongoing development of the collections

 

- Participate in seasonal line plans and budgets together with the design and sales team

 

- Set and execute strategy for supply chain and sourcing

 

- Set quality standards for suppliers and internal quality standards

 

- Execute and monitor a quality assurance program

 

- Set a strategy to ensure focus on securing margin and timely deliveries

 

- Create a documented operational framework including critical path, costing tools, seasonal task checklists, options plans, range plans, range boards, sampling and WIP tracking tools, BOM, quality standards.

 

- Ensure timely deliveries of sourcing, sampling and production

 

- Work with management and design on merchandising and product strategy

 

- Ownership of all packaging to pass testing and approvals
