Job Details

THE ROLE
A highly skilled and motivated person, the ideal candidate will display an intuitive understanding of the culture of Goodhood and the marketplace it operates in. They will be able to contribute ideas alongside strategic and commercial insight to fulfil the business objectives across multiple channels.


The candidate will be an expert in online sales trading and strategies across the various platforms used to conduct and deliver digital sales and conversions. They will need to demonstrate experience in digital strategy to facilitate growth domestically and overseas, and the ability to execute digital campaigns and implement the latest marketing strategies using social media to maximise ecommerce sales is essential.


The role will oversee all ecommerce activities, developing all digital channel strategies and web architecture alongside finance and senior management.


This includes being responsible for overseeing, managing and leading the ecommerce team to meet daily, weekly and long-term deliverables, targets and commercial objectives. Cross department communication, liaising and strategising with buying, press/marketing, finance and logistic teams to ensure consistency in messaging whilst delivering increased sales and awareness.


The candidate must have the capability to consider and understand data analysis/analytics to be used effectively to drive business objectives.


The role will report directly to the COO and company directors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver, generate and manage growth of all digital sales across all channels
  • Create deliver strategy to deliver growth across all digital channels and territories in line with business objectives
  • Lead, manage and oversee the Ecommerce team to ensure daily, weekly and long-term deliverables are met
  • Maintain and develop Goodhood’s visual assets across the e-commerce business and ensure visual consistency across Goodhood channels overseeing the look and feel of the Goodhood website
  • Authoritative and responsible for determining the format and features of the website in order to maximise clarity and navigation for customers
  • Responsible for all digital marketing activities, SEO, PPC, Social Media and email marketing
  • Responsible for cohesive identity across digital and physical channels.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous management experience in a sales and deadline driven environment in clothing retail
  • Extensive experience with practices and techniques related to digital trading/online retailing
  • Comprehensive understanding of internet standards and interactivity
  • Sound knowledge of website management and ecommerce usability
  • Good understanding of digital marketing, PPC, SEO, GA, sand social strategies
  • Ambition to excel through creative approach, able to think outside of the box
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to meet deliverables
  • Creative thinker with a proven track record for disruptive idea execution

PROFILE

  • 5 - 8 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Worked within the Contemporary / Luxury Retail or Streetwear sector
  • Proven ability to manage teams of people
  • Proven commercial and sales driven background
