Product Manager-Watches & Eyewear - Cartier

Searching for a dynamic professional whose prime function primary function is to implement product strategies and guidelines from HQ at the local level and providing support to Cartier LAC's sales team, and partners, to help meet sales objectives and optimize allocated resources.
POSITION IS BASED IN MIAMI WITH THE CARTIER LAC TEAM
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
MANAGEMENT OF WATCHES
Key responsibility 1 - Product launching
Orchestrate product launches with supply chain, communication and store entities, with the objective of maximizing the commercial impact and market exposure of the Maison.
Interpret central marketing guidelines to successfully fit LAC markets specificities (language, culture, seasonality, trends).
Key responsibility 2 - Performance Analysis
Monitor sell-out performance and recommend and implement action plans (sell-in, sell-out, per line, per client/market, etc).
Manage product life cycle by conducting regular product ranking analysis.
Key responsibility 3 - Product strategy
Conduct drawing and implementation of local Marketing strategy in coordination with HQ marketing as well as local top management: budgeting & resource allocation.
Generate recommendations destined to enhance impact of local product strategy: product development needs, pricing strategies as well as quota management.
Key responsibility 4 - Supply Chain
Collaborate with Supply Chain Manager to ensure adequate product supply; follow-up shipments, back-orders, delivery issues, etc. Dine product assortments aligned with the Maison's objectives to maximize sales potential.
Define accurate sales forecasts for range products and novelties.
Define stock objectives in conjunction with supply chain.
Key responsibility 5 - Product information
Control and manage all aspects of product information ranging from DRP updating, product tree maintenance, pricing updating and product database up-keeping.
Key responsibility 6 - Sales team support
Acts as advisor and support to sales team regarding projects, tasks and operations.
Formulates sales team's goals and objectives and motivates stakeholders to attain them.
Key responsibility 7 - Consignment
Develop & coordinate product consignment strategy in the region and develop appropriate reporting tools as well as ensure proper monthly reconciliation of POS Stock alongside Jewelry Product Manager, Supply Chain & Retail Department.
Key responsibility 8 - Product communication
Oversee all aspects of internal product communication: creating product information tools (product news, mappings, etc), controlling product information release, monitoring utilization and understanding of product information by commercial entities.
Key responsibility 9 - Product communication
Collaborate with Communications team in defining the priority markets and collections for media strategies & PR and Events activations.
Key responsibility 10 - Market intelligence
Conduct constant market intelligence surveillance, monitoring competition launches, market pricing as well as overall communication and sales strategies.
Key responsibility 11 - Training
Perform introductory and launch-specific Fragrance training to Cartier L.A.C. newcomer as well as to BTQ & POS Staff.
Develop and provide adequate training tools.
MANAGEMENT OF LEATHER STRAPS
Key responsibility 1 - Product life cycle
Manages product life cycle by conducting regular product ranking analysis and sales monitoring in conjunction with Camille Fournet NY.
Defines and implements product assortments and model stock with Cartier NY and Camille Fournet NY.
Key responsibility 3 - Product information
Controls and manages all aspects of product information ranging from reference updating, product tree maintenance, pricing updating, product database up-keeping and supporting Sales Team.
Key responsibility 4 - Product quality and inventory
Oversee all aspects of product quality and control inventory.
Key responsibility 5 - Ordering Tool
Implementation, maintenance and overall support of new leather strap ordering tool on Booster.
PROFILE
Education:
Bachelor degree in the Marketing field required. Master's degree preferred.
Required experience:
Prior experience in product management.
Technical skills / abilities:
Full proficiency in excel and PowerPoint. BI knowledge a definite plus.
Fluent in English and Spanish language required. French language skills would be a definite plus.
