The RealReal's Finance team is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst that will be an integral part of our growing team. This role is responsible for partnering closely with our Operations Team to conduct labor planning for our e-commerce centers. This role will also manage the other non-payroll related line items on the P&L that relate to Operations (e.g., Travel, Supplies, etc.). The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, be able to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment and show strong leadership skills. 

What You Get To Do Every Day
  • Partner with the Operations team to align on assumptions around Units per Hour, Average Wage Rates, SLA/Queue size
  • Keep the Operations Labor Planning model up to date with actuals and the latest forecast
  • Track Unit Economics of the overall department by function.  Identify trends and forecast the impact that future efficiencies will have on Unit Economics
  • Pull weekly flash reports to help the Operations team understand how they are tracking towards their monthly and annual UE and UPH goals
  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual updates to the forecast
  • Conduct month end close reporting and analysis

What You Bring To The Role
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Economics or Finance
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience, preferably in Finance at a high-growth startup or a large, well-established company - Labor Planning Experience a plus
  • Budding understanding of GAAP accounting
  • Solid and improving Excel skills and proficient PowerPoint and Google Apps skills, experience in automation in Excel and/or Google Sheets preferred 
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills; ability to connect with team members and convey technical financial information to non-financial professionals
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different functions and diverse personalities
  • Desire to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
  • NetSuite, Adaptive Planning and/or Looker experience is a plus
