We are looking for a brilliant and enthusiastic HS&E Manager who can add value at all levels of the business, leading policy across the organization and developing a strong safety culture.

The resource will be based in Milan and she/he will report functionally to local BOS & Security Director and hierarchically to regional HS&E Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist ITALY affiliates, including BTQ's and offices /RCS in delivering all aspects of HS&E management and Legal compliance
  • Implement Richemont HS&E group Management Policies, Standards and Guidance in line with the Local HS&E Management System and provide relevant training to all affiliate personnel.
  • Ensure that each project has a Safety & Environmental plan including an emergency preparedness plan in place, which is communicated and implemented by all
  • Compile and deliver HS&E training to all staff
  • Develop the skills of site based management staff and sub-contractors in all areas of health and safety and environment.
  • Facilitate execution of Richemont HS&E strategy locally with direction from Group and Regional HS&E Manager.
  • Ensure arrangements are in place for HS&E audits/reviews and inspections of the workplace, plant and equipment in order to monitor compliance with the Company HS&E Management System and local legal requirements.
  • Ensure all occupational injuries/illnesses, dangerous occurrences, incidents and at risk behaviors are fully investigated and reported with findings and recommendations for preventive action and corrective action where appropriate.
  • Advise and assist in all risk assessment activities, including advice on new investments and projects locally.
  • Participate in the Local HS&E Management Committee.


Profile:

  • At least 3-5 years experience as local HS&E Specialist including permanent member of local Safety Committee
  • Good knowledge of ISO 14001/ISO 45001 standards
  • Science or Technical based engineering degree, preferably in mechanical or chemical industry
  • Working towards or already achieved a professional HS&E qualification e.g. NEBOSH international certificate (ideally) or equivalent e.g. Master in occupational Safety and Health, recognized by AIAS (Associazione professionale Italiana Ambiente e Sicurezza)


Language skills:

Fluent in Italian and English

French knowledge will be considered a plus
