We are seeking an experienced and data driven eCommerce Manager based out of New York to drive the day-to-day trading on GANNI.COM; accountable for developing the regionalisation, optimisation and trading of the US website to achieve sales objectives and build GANNI.COM as the global destination of choice.  

You’ll be joining a small team in a high growth and dynamic business environment, where you’ll depend on your ability to prioritise and work across a multitude of projects to deliver results yet build for the future. You will be reporting to our Global eCommerce Director based in London. 

 

Role Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Accountable for managing the day-to-day US website trading in order to achieve sales objectives whilst building brand integrity.

  • Own daily/weekly/monthly trade analysis, providing insights of key business drivers, missed opportunities and actions plans to ensure sales targets are delivered

  • Planning and executing the US trading calendar with a commercial customer-first mindset, identifying localisation opportunities to improve KPIs in your markets

  • Executing and optimising on-site merchandising strategies through product categories, navigation, sorting rules and on-site search optimisation

  • Identify opportunities for regionalised on-site content, email and marketing campaigns, going after local revenue driving opportunities

  • Identify key buying habits of consumers in your region and work with the Global CRM manager to understand US consumer behaviour online

  • Lead and execute all on-site promotions and content including reporting and analysing performance

  • Working alongside the Merchandising, Buying and BI teams to optimise the online assortment and develop product exclusives to enhance our USP in the US

  • Working closely with the IT and Ecommerce operations manager on site improvements and support with testing when necessary

  • Feeding into marketing and UX decisions on content and layout across the site

  • Implement a structured approach to monitoring competitors and benchmarking their activities to support strategic planning and future developments

  • Support the Ecommerce Director and Global finance teams to agree financial forecasts for your site and own the subsequent trading in order to achieve this.

 

The ideal candidate:

  • 4+ years ecommerce management experience in a multichannel/luxury environment

  • Analytical with strong reporting skills, advanced Google Analytics and Excel user

  • Experience working within e-commerce platforms, ideally Salesforce Commerce Cloud

  • Test and learn mindset, curious and influencer and driving of new initiatives

  • Commercial, customer-first mindset with strong understanding of premium branding

  • Proactive, self starter with the ability to own and excel within your area of the business
