Position Overview
The Director, Global Digital Marketing will be part of an exciting, growing team focused on digital excellence. You will be part of the CMO and CDO organization and will be responsible for supporting the digital strategies to drive RL's leadership in digital marketing. You will work in close partnership with a great team of knowledge experts across multiple functions in Marketing and Digital. This position will report to the Head of Digital Marketing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Evaluate digital channels and present comprehensive POVs which include but are not limited to market size and growth rate, industry structure, business model evolution, consumer segmentation and brand participation · Engage with external business and industry experts to learn and influence digital strategies, remaining forward thinking about opportunities and risks in the broader industry · Direct and lead the development of digital opportunities from idea conception to full execution and program management through project life cycle that delivers on initiative objectives · Work cross-functionally across global marketing, site, social, app and regional marketing to develop and execute digital strategies · Measure ROI & KPI's across all digital efforts in partnership with the Insights team · Identify, structure and present external partnership opportunities that outline the path to short, mid and long-term value creation · Drive thinking on key business metrics for partnerships, taking responsibility for mobilizing partners and internal resources to meet objectives · Review financial analyses of deal information and approve timely and accurate financial recommendations in partnership with senior leaders · Oversee the day-to-day management of external partner relationships with a focus on growth activities including partnership tracking documents, which consist of timely updates, plans and next steps · Prepare and present strategy documents, quarterly business reviews, and executive-level presentations · Monitor market research to better understand the current competitive landscape and keep up to date of the latest trends in the digital industry
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
· Bachelor's degree required. · Demonstrated experience with implementing digital & marketing initiatives that will scale to support the requirements of a growing organization with multiple brands. · Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication, and time management skills as well as the ability to prioritize, multitask, and focus · Success in building cross-group, cross-functional relationships · Strong organizational skills + the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Passion for fashion, lifestyle and beauty brands#LI-AD1
