About the role

We are looking for an Account Coordinator for Europe Franchise and Strategic Alliances based in London. The Account Coordinator will play a key role in driving retail sales and wholesale shipments. The Account Coordinator will work with the Account Management & Ops Team to execute the Franchise strategy with assigned accounts in a specific region. The Account Coordinator will work cross functionally to ensure consistent delivery of the brands, including retail fundamentals, brand standards and operational excellence. Working with the Account Management & Ops team, the Account Coordinator will be focused on supporting key strategic projects, including internal & external operational best practices. The individual has deep retail knowledge, can drive results and strong business relationship skills with internal and external partners. The Account Coordinator reports to a Senior Account Manager. They are a key member of the Account Management & Ops Team and will be expected to work cross functionally with relevant Franchise teams and brand business partners. They will collaborate with Visual, Marketing and Operations teams to execute Gap Inc. Franchise strategies within assigned regions or projects. The Account Coordinator will be a key Brand Ambassador and represent Gap Inc. within their assigned region.

What you'll do

  • Assists in preparing for market visits and create post market visit recaps
  • Prepares and analyzes Franchise account and feedback regarding support needs
  • Provides feedback & insight on the field and operational strategies for the franchise business
  • Gives perspective on market & Real Estate opportunities; support preparing presentations
  • Provides insight to Account Management & Ops team about how to apply local market knowledge & needs to adapt the store experience
  • Work with Account Management & Ops team to implement service, store presentation & operational solutions
  • Identifies additional support, resources, information needed to drive franchise business in assigned market
  • Assist Account Managers in coaching during seasonal product launches, visual & marketing roll-outs/in-season refresh
  • Monitors brand integrity & coaches franchise partners to implement systems/processes to better align with brand standards
  • Provides guidance & examples of brand best practices to franchisee field leaders


Who you are

  • 3+ years of retail experience; Deep retail knowledge including ability to assess customer experience and store operations opportunities
  • Strong leadership; collaboration & influencing skills with the ability to transfer knowledge by coaching and guiding
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Highly flexible & adapts well to a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze complex financial reports
  • Strong time management skills with ability to work on a team or individually
  • Ability to build relationships across geographies and time zones, while being mindful of language and cultural nuances
  • Flexibility to attend late night/early morning global conference calls, and travel to relevant markets as needed, including weekend availability when required
