General Warehouse Associate
HUGO BOSS Fashions, Inc. | Midway | United States | Full-time

We are looking for a team player with proven retail distribution success to work in a fast-paced distribution center.

What you can expect:

• Unload trailers, sort and repack inbound freight
• Pick and pack customer orders; flat pack goods and garment on hanger
• Move shipping cartons to and from conveyor system
• Apply price tickets and perform other customer requested value added services
• Sort and palletize outbound cartons in shipping; load outbound trailers
• Perform physical inventory counts and or cycle counts
• Operate pallet jacks as required
• Complete assignments with the use of RF equipment
• Reports damages and vendor compliance issues
• Resolves problems or discrepancies with help from immediate supervisor
• Meets department demands without sacrificing quality
• Maintains an acceptable level of attendance based on attendance policy
• Ensures safety techniques are used in all aspects of daily work responsibilities
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Ability to read and speak the English language proficiently enough to communicate with co-workers, to understand and provide directions, to respond to management inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
• Maintains condition of Distribution Center and/or warehouse work area (I.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)

Your profile:

• Minimum 6 months previous distribution center, warehouse, and/or order filling experience
• Basic experience with a computer (Basic skills/knowledge - capable of functioning independently) Warehouse management system experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, stoop, reach, and walk to do the job, and the ability to perform work with hands and/or arms in the same repetitive motion above and below the shoulder level
• Ability to commit to Company policies, principles, and processes
• Basic knowledge of simple math concepts
• The ability to regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than sixty pounds
• Experience working with Standard Operating Procedures/Standard Work (Basic skills/knowledge - capable of functioning independently)
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Forklift license is a plus.
• Must have the ability to stand and/or walk for eight to ten hours a day.
• The ability to pass a drug screen
